The first thing people usually notice about Isabel is her striking physical beauty. She is tall, slender, dusky skinned and dark haired. She has a veiled, changeable smile [usually one of wry amusement] and her colours are silver and blue [they set off her blue eyes, and Isabel is keenly conscious of the powers of her appearance].

Isabel is also known for her Godmother's Gift of a beautiful singing and speaking voice.

Isabel is of mixed lineage, the descendant of King Garland and a Passimite Princess, Sameera [hence the dusky complexion]. The popular opinion was not overfond of the King's Foreign Wife [her with a different language and suspect opinions and ways], and she dissappearred in circumstances which were never precisely explained. Isabel's sister Catherine also vanished at age 3, and these mysterious scandalous dissappearances and their half-blood status has set Isabel and her older brother Tariq apart from the others. They are inescapably different and exiled.

Isabel has a strong will, and a strong mind and desires above all else simply the freedom to be herself and not within anyone's power. Isabel thirsts for education and learning and seeks to read anything she gets her hands on, to find out everything she can about the world [knowledge is power and all that].

Though she is perfectly graceful and charming in social situations she is more of a loner, preferring to spend her time in one-to-one connections or perhaps a chess game with a worthy opponent. Isabel prefers to be slightly apart from others, alluring and inviolate.

Isabel detests needlework and all the other mindless, substanceless decorous pursuits assigned to females, and she longs to be allowed to roam free in ways that are entirely lacking of propreity.

She is cool, and charming and catlike.
